Hi, I'm Aislinn.

I'm a UI/UX Design student, currently studying in Belfast.

My Work

Who I Am

I am a 20 year old student studying Interaction Design. I love creating brand identities and exploring the digital world. Whether it be design for print, photography or websites and apps, I’m always keen to challenge my skills and produce fresh content for my clients.

Beginnings

Thanks to my parents who both had a creative eye, I have been interested and talented in Art and Design from a very young age. My mother completed her master's degree in Design as I was growing up... it is no word of a lie when I say I was using Adobe Photoshop in the Ulster University Mac suite by the time I was five years old, I have proof...

My First Masterpiece

I still notice today how absorbing the creative environment throughout my childhood has moulded my thinking, from my confident approach to technology and software, to how I visualise and solve problems.

Stepping Stones

Once I started secondary school it became apparent that I excelled in Art class, receiving multiple '1st in the Year for Art and Design' awards and full marks in GCSE Art and Design.
As time passed, I tried to convince myself that I would follow a different path to that of my mother, but eventually, I had no choice but to pursue a career in creative technology and design.

Developing

Over the last three years I have continued higher education in design, achieving a Distinction in HND Interactive Media for 2019. The course let me get a head start in the industry with live client projects and work placement opportunities.
Winner of the Joseph Harron Award for Best Creativity in Interactive Media 2019
I am now in Year 2 at Ulster University Belfast School of Art studying Interaction Design. Exciting times to come with lots of opportunities to challenge myself and learn!
